This is my daughters second year in dance. We love Elevate Dance and Miss Lisa! It’s been such a positive experience and my daughter can’t wait to go every week. Everyone is kind, friendly and helpful. So glad we chose Elevate Dance!

Lisa is the owner as well as a teacher at Elevate Dance.  My girls first got to know Lisa by helping in classes that Lisa taught. They are learning from the best on how to teach younger girls and boys to dance.  Lisa builds an excellent foundation in dance technique in the younger children.  Lisa also in the last year taught the older girls and reinforces the basics while expanding to more complex moves. Her commitment, passion and caring nature to the studio, teachers and students is what sets the atmosphere to make Elevate a great place to dance.  This is reinforced with amazing teachers and supporting staff.  My girls have been taught by Lisa, Laurie, Andi, Buzzy, Dani, Hannah and Charlique.   They all have a wealth of experience and teach good dance technique, discipline as well as many other qualities to make the kids into well rounded people while having fun. The studio also has company teams. Those that are interested and make the team are exposed to competition dance either as groups of varying size or as a solos. This teaches those that are more dedicated to dance, many more skills and creates bonding and friendships of both parents and students and many fun memories together.

Last summer, we were in search of a new studio because we were not thrilled with the studio we were at.  I had heard a new studio was opening, so we took a chance and switched over to Elevate. This was the BEST decision we could have made. We have been thrilled with Elevate. My daughter loves Ms. Lisa and you can tell Ms. Lisa loves her students just as much.  The staff is as friendly as they are talented and I am impressed overall quality of the classes.  We were blown away by the professionalism of their very first recital as a studio and can’t wait to see what is in store next.  Our experience at Elevate has been leaps and bounds above what we had at our previous studio.  We couldn’t be happier and couldn’t recommend Elevate more.  We are proud to be part of the Elevate family!

My daughter, Katelyn, has been under the instruction of Miss Lisa for about 3 years.  Katelyn went into ballet with Miss Lisa at age 7.  She had tried ballet before at different park districts, but it seemed like she was really never able to connect with the dancing and/or the instructors.  Her experience with Miss Lisa was entirely different!  From the very beginning, I noticed how much Miss Lisa engaged the entire class, focused on core skills, looked at each child as an individual, gave them each the attention that they needed with care and patience, along with constructive feedback and corrections whenever it was necessary.  Kate just finished her third year of ballet with Miss Lisa, and I have seen her grow in dance, flexibility, balance and grace in ways I could not have ever imagined!  She absolutely loves Miss Lisa.  


We are incredibly grateful to Miss Lisa for all that she has done for our daughter.  We are so excited and proud to support Elevate!

Elevate Dance wants to see their students grow, succeed & learn about dancing all while enjoying themselves. The owner Lisa Stay has been passionate about dancing her whole life and you can see that at every element within Elevate. From the other teachers, staff, student teachers and the inviting areas inside that have been made for the students between classes. When my son Zakary begged his Aunt Lisa at the the Grand Opening to take tap classes there I knew my husband and I didn’t stand a chance, and it was the best decision that we made. It has been a wonderful experience seeing Aunt Lisa turn into Miss Lisa and how she gets to know each of her students and gears the classes towards all of them. From what I have seen observing the other teachers they all seem to do that and have a real connection with their student, in and out of the studio. I am so glad we listened and enrolled Zakary, I believe being in dance at Elevate has helped him be more confident, learn patience and has helped him listen better.
