PRESCHOOLERS/KINDERGARTENERS
Dancing Tots: In this class, basic ballet steps will be taught, along with creative movement and body recognition. This class stresses repetition for muscle strength and memory by combining dance games and fun music. This class is the perfect introduction for a mom free dance class.
Pre Ballet/Tap: The perfect 45 minute program to welcome your child to the art of dance. This class is composed of fun filled songs that introduce your child to Tap and Ballet. Not only is this class the perfect “introduction” into the world of dance, it also develops socialization skills, listening skills, independence, and also helps with parent/child separation.
Pre Ballet: A creative class for your little Ballerina. In this class dancers will learn the basic principles of ballet, gross motor skill development, imaginative movement exploration. This class is a great class for those younger dancers who do not like the noise of Tap class.
GRADE SCHOOLERS to 8th GRADE
Debut Hip Hop: Dancers develop musicality, creativity, listening skills and coordination. This non-stop, action-packed class includes hip hop, basic break dancing, and dance games that will have your kid moving to the beat! Don't be intimidated...these classes are great for boys and girls who want to be challenged, learn various styles of hip hop.
Debut Tap: Each class will enhance the dancer's knowledge of steps and combinations. Dancers will find their own artistry, through play and performance practice.

Intro to Contemporary: Contemporary dance is a dance genre which encourages the freedom of expression, improvisation, innovation and creative exploration of movement. We will also use improvisation games to inspire the student's own creative movement.
Contemporary 1: for our intermediate An expressive dance style that is a fusion of many different dance genres. Most notably, it has elements and techniques from styles like modern, jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet. During this curious yet focused class, dancers will explore basic floor work, intro to breath integration, proper body alignment, and more.
Int Hip Hop: Dancers develop musicality, creativity, listening skills and coordination. This non-stop, action-packed class includes hip hop, basic break dancing, and dance games that will have your kid moving to the beat! Don't be intimidated...these classes are great for boys and girls who want to be challenged, learn various styles of hip hop.
Improv Jam 1: Improvisation is the process of spontaneously creating movement. In this class, students will learn how to explore new movements and challenge their bodies through improvisational techniques and exercises to expand their physical capacity. Class will be set up to learn how to improv to different styles of music and different styles of dance.
Ballet 3 / 4: This summer class will build on basic ballet vocabulary and continue to develop proper technique, strength and flexibility. Class will focus on increasing strength and flexibility needed to advance to pointe work, while continuing to add to ballet vocabulary, grace and musicality.
Tap 2: This combined class of Primary and Intermediate fall Tap classes will introduce new rhythm concepts and will explore more intricate combinations and techniques. Tap dancers will learn to listen and reproduce various sounds and patterns.
Debut & Primary Lyrical: Lyrical dance combines elements of ballet and jazz, and the focus is on storytelling through movement and emotional connection to the lyrics of a song.
Debut & Primary Jazz: Dancers will continue learning the beginning steps of jazz and work on picking up choreography sequences that fuse style and technique. It is essential for leaps, turns, and floor work, and greatly aided by ballet. Jazz allows the freedom to develop a dancer’s individuality to its fullest.
Stretch, Leaps & Turns 1 and 2: This class is for dancers who are working on their flexibility training while looking to improve their leaps, turns, and kicks. In this class dancers will learn the proper and safe technique to enhance their flexibility and the rest of class time is dedicated to learning new leap, turn, and kick sequences
8th GRADE AND HIGH SCHOOLERS
Adv Hip Hop: Dancers develop musicality, creativity, listening skills and coordination. This non-stop, action-packed class includes hip hop, basic break dancing, and dance games that will have your kid moving to the beat! Don't be intimidated...these classes are great for boys and girls who want to be challenged, learn various styles of hip hop.
Adv/Elite Jazz: Focus on style and technique, including longer and more difficult combinations requiring more control, incorporating bigger leaps (seconds, switch, scissor, etc.), more turns (triple pirouettes, a la seconde turns, etc.) and higher kicks. Each class will consist of a warm-up, across the floor, proper jazz technique, and combinations. Dancers must be enrolled in a ballet class while enrolled in these levels.
Adv/Elite Lyrical: Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz, with expressive motions that tell a story. Students will learn lyrical technique along with how to express emotion through movement. In this class students will learn the basic technique and terminology that will include a warm up, combinations across the floor, improv dance and progressions.
Int Lyrical: Lyrical is a combination of light tumbling, ballet technique, jazz technique, as well as some modern styles of dance. In this lyrical class the students will explore their ability to interpret a song's mood as well as feel. In the lyrical class a student will work on their flexibility, light tumbling (cartwheels, toe ups, etc), their balance, as well as turning in different ways from traditional jazz/ballet turns.

In this class, students will learn how to explore new movements and challenge their bodies through improvisational techniques and exercises to expand their physical capacity. Int Jazz: This is a great class for the dancer who has experience in dance class and is ready to move beyond the fundamentals. During this fun and upbeat class, dancers will explore skills including turns, leaps, across-the-floor progressions, basic combinations, and more. Dancers will be able to build strength, improve alignment, and enhance memorization skills in this welcoming environment.
Ballet 5/6: Combined ballet levels of Ms.Carla’s classes from the 2023-2024 season. This class is for experienced ballet students.
Pointe: This class will include exercises at the barre and in the centre. Students will improve strength and learn more difficult movements, while improving step transitions, fluidity of movement, and presentation. All pointe dancers must take at least 1 ballet class.
Contemporary 2 for our Advanced Contemporary students Experimentation and improvisation often play a large part in creating contemporary movement. Understanding how your body moves through space, shifting of weight and momentum, floor work and overall body strength and control all play a critical role in this style of dance.
Pre Pointe/Beginning Pointe/Feet & Ankles: This class dancers will focus on articulating through the feet, strengthening the ankles. This class is perfect for those in pointe shoes, character shoes, runners, or adults who need to strengthen their feet, ankles and legs.

Adult Tap: This class is a wonderful entry or reintroduction to dance for teens and adults who have little tap experience or who have not taken a tap class since their youth. Dancers will learn basic rhythmic tap skills, and terminology. Dancers will participate in warm up, center, and traveling exercises.
Adult Ballet: Ballet is the foundation of dance and highly encouraged for all dancers. These classes will focus on classical ballet technique, proper body alignment, and learning the French terminology of the steps. Students will work at the barre, in the center, and across the floor in this class. Ballet tech will focus on technique with occasional combinations.
Adult Hip Hop: A high-energy dance form using the latest music mixed with movements that are influenced by some of today’s top video choreographers. Classes will provide a structured method of learning various styles of movement in a fun and vibrant environment. Each class will incorporate dance combinations and routines and will encourage individual expression and personal style.
