We have several ways to keep your dancer dancing and continue their progression onto more
advanced lessons in the fall.
The schedule is flexible to accommodate your summer plans. Students have the option to register for a full 5 week session or Drop In classes, allowing our families to choose to participate in classes when the schedule works for you. Our 2023 Summer schedule was created to give our dancers new opportunities to try new classes and give our younger dancers a break from our normal class structure.
Summer session 2 starts on Monday, July 17th and runs for 5 weeks ending on August 19th. Summer Session 2 schedule will be posted and open for registration on Monday, June 5th.
WHAT SHOULD MY DANCER WEAR? During the summer, our dress code is very relaxed and students may wear any leotards they are comfortable in, shorts or leggings. Hair should be in a bun for ballet and a ponytail for all other styles of dance. Boys should wear comfortable shorts and a t-shirt.
Drop Ins: Once again this year you have the opportunity to drop in any class that is running with space available. It is highly suggested that you pre register for any class you wish to drop in Asap to prevent it from being canceled due to low enrollment.. We cannot guarantee a class will be available for drop in if we do not have enough registration.
Current AIM Company Members: We are asking that you maintain your dancing during the summers especially if you are dancing at Nationals in July. You are expected to take at least one class a week until the Nationals Competition.
Future AIM Company Members: For the 2023/24 season we are requiring all dancers who want to audition to have at least 10 summer classes accounted for. We will be offering a punch card for 10 classes for $100 for 9 and under dancers and $120 for 10 and up dancers. Classes can be accumulated during the summer months and can be a combination of any classes you choose. See attached flyers for audition information. On May 1st visit our website in the Artist in Motion tab to register for an audition date you will be asked to complete a google link.
Informational/Audition packets will be available for downloading on our website as well on May 1st.
Registration: You can register for Summer classes on your parent portal, by emailing us at the studio (please provide the dancer’s name and class you would like to register for) to elevatedanceantioch@gmail.com, or by calling us at 847.603.1577 and we will be happy to register your dancer(s) over the phone.
Registration will be done on the Dance Studio Pro portal. If you were a dancer at ELD in 2021 your information is still in the system you just might have to reset your password. If you are a new dancer from 2022/2023 you will have to create a new account. We will be discontinuing The Studio Director Parent Portal with the summer session. Thank you for your support and we cannot wait to see you throughout the summer!
